This one melted me

June 2nd, 2009

I’ve always said that non-posed pictures are by far the best. It’s the decisive moment in time that has the power to set a scene or tell a story. As many of you know I was the Manager for Josiah and Isaac’s baseball team this year. Since I was managing I couldn’t do any photography so Valeria picked up the slack for me at a couple games. The image below was shot when I called “time out” to go talk to Isaac when he was pitching; to settle him down and help him refocus. There’s so much that could be said that’s funny about this picture, mainly our size difference, but the things that get me are his innocence and yes, his size. The fact that, this is MY little boy and I just love him so much. And, if you look really close, his reflection is in my glasses. This shot just melts me. Thanks Valeria. You’re an awesome Mom.
