A couple weeks ago I took a game off from managing our boys’ team and took some pictures. Their pictures gave me an idea. If you order game pics from me I have the option of using my lab’s generic magazine cover designs; but really, they’re sort of too generic. So knowing that, I designed my own based on the initials of our league TCN (Temple City National). I loved figuring out how to overlap Josiah’s head over the mag title so it looks like a real magazine. Pretty fun for a guy like me.

These two are my favorites of my boys.

At the field where we play I shoot into the sun quite often. Sometimes it’s annoying but sometimes it gives the pictures such a great feel.

I really enjoy shooting the older boys because there are often great plays at home plate like this one.

Sometimes it’s all about body language. The second baseman standing over his defeated foe. The runner…. just defeated.

I guess you could call it all sorts of things, but the nights where I make crazy hamburgers and home cut french fries, the boys call it FAST FOOD NIGHT! Josiah and I were watching a show on the travel channel called, The Top 10 Places To Pig Out. So along that theme we decided to make some killer burgers for dinner. I know what you’re thinking, but let me tell you, it was yummy!

For the second year in a row our boys’ elementary school ran an auction to raise money for the school, and it was a huge success. It seems like it just gets better every year.I was asked to be involved with the planning of it for next year because I think there should be a theme. We’ll see what we can come up with.

As last year, Chuck Henry from the channel 4 news came and was the MC. He does a great job each year.

As well as making money for the school, it seems like people always have a really great time at these, especially since In N Out always caters it, so I’m looking forward to next year.
