OK, I’m stealing this from my wife who stole it from Suzie B., who may have stolen it from her cousin. There sure is a lot of thievery around here. Anyway, considering what I do for a living I like this idea. So here it goes.
Make Things - Pay It Forward
The first five (5) people to respond to this post will get something made by me. This offer does have some restrictions and limitations so please read carefully:
1. I make no guarantees that you will like what I make. Whatcha get is whatcha get.
2. What I create will be just for you, with love.
3. It’ll be done this year (2009).
4. I will not give you any clue what it’s going to be. It will be something made in the real world and not something cyber.
5. I reserve the right to do something strange.
6. In return, all you need to do is post this text into a note of your own and make 5 things for the first 5 to respond to your note.
7. Send your mailing address if you don’t live close to me!
For those of you that don’t know, I’m on the board of directors of our local little league, Temple City National, and this weekend we had a fundraiser that was ton of fun and very successful. As you’ll see, parents and kids alike had fun washing cars to raise funds for our league.
WORKIN’ AT THE CAR WASH!
Josiah and Isaac get the rare opportunity of playing on the same team this year. It’s rare because Isaac just turned 6 3 days ago and has been playing on a team of 7 to 9 year olds. Being their coach has been very fun and rewarding at the same time. We’re just getting into the season and have played two of the best teams in the league so far, it’s been a rocky start, but over all the boys are having a blast. We won a game last week and since I’m the head coach I can’t shoot and coach at the same time, so Valeria grabbed the camera and took the pics in this slide show.
BASEBALL HIGHLIGHTS!
So I realize I’m sort of going back in time as I write this but that’s OK. I thought I’d drop in a slide show from our leagues opening ceremonies which was also very fun. All the boys were so proud of their new uniforms. It was really funny watching the smaller kids get board and start playing with the dirt and grass.
OPENING CEREMONIES 2009
If you watched all of them I commend you. Most of all I hope you enjoyed some of this fun work.
If you haven’t already, join me on facebook. I’ve started a page for seniorzrule.com and my very own recipe exchange page. Come on, you know how I love to cook, and even more how I love to eat! See you over there!
So I was filing some old work away and ran across some images I don’t think I ever shared. These are from a shoot I did for Seniorzrule.com with my friend Gabby. Hope you enjoy them!
A couple weeks ago I was aksed to photograph Mark and Ann to celebrate their engagement to each other. What a great couple. We drove out to Malibu Canyon to do their shoot and give them the feel of being somewhere completely different than LA. What a beautiful location! At the end of the shoot we decided to head on down to the beach. I hope you love these pictures as much as I do!
